Company History
It started with tracking bees, and a government challenge to help reduce crime
Rivercity Innovations won the inaugural Innovation Saskatchewan Rural Crime Challenge, working in conjunction with Innovation Saskatchewan and the Government of Saskatchewan’s Ministry of Corrections and Policing. What started as a solution created by Founder and CEO Jeff Shirley to prevent theft of beehives at their family farm Blue Heron Gardens, has since expanded into IoT solutions delivered to clients worldwide.
Today our IoT satellite GPS trackers and legacy products are sold under our brand BeeSecure, while our key product line and focus remains on Cold Chain temperature monitoring in food services and supply chain.
We are proudly based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
