IT STARTED WITH BEES
Rivercity Innovations won the inaugural Innovation Saskatchewan Rural Crime Challenge, working in conjunction with Innovation Saskatchewan and the Government of Saskatchewan’s Ministry of Corrections and Policing.
What started as a solution created by Founder and CEO Jeff Shirley to prevent theft and track temperature of bees at their family farm (BeeSecure, a product and brand owned by Rivercity Innovations), led to tracking pharamacy narcotics and vaccine temperatures with our first generation sensors. Grocery stores then followed on for automated temperature monitoring using IoT.
Today thousands of our TxH temperature monitoring sensors are used by hundreds of stores across North America and Spain. Our cold chain temperature monitoring solution is focused on reducing food loss and the carbon footprint of our clients. Sustainability is everyone’s responsibility, we are doing our part through smart use of IoT solutions developed right here in Canada.
We are proudly based in Canadian prairies.
